Donald Trump is in Washington today. We’ll hear from the president at 10am ET when he unveils a new AI tool that is designed to make it easier to access information from the federal government. Following this, the president will welcome several AI company CEOs to the White House for a meeting, alongside Republican House speaker Mike Johnson.
A reminder that Trump and many members of his party – including Johnson – have dismissed the idea of guardrails on AI development for fear of losing ground to China.
