Ukraine aims to ‘destabilise Russia’ with thousands of troops in Kursk incursion



Official says Kyiv seeking to ‘stretch the enemy’ with fast-moving attacks now reaching up to 18 miles inside borderUkrainian sources have indicated that thousands of troops have been committed to its incursion into Russia, which on its sixth day appeared to edge forward with reports of fighting 15 to 18 miles inside the border and a rare video showing the capture of a Russian village.A Ukrainian security official told the Agence France-Presse that the aim of the incursion was to destabilise Russia and string out Russian forces with light, fast-moving attacks.
