The Nationals are threatening to permanently end their coalition with the Liberal party, after three frontbenchers resigned over their decision to cross the floor on Labor’s hate speech bill.
Senators Ross Cadell, Bridget McKenzie and Susan McDonald voted against the Coalition’s position on the contentious legislation, a breach of shadow cabinet solidarity rules.
