Kansas health officials say they are monitoring six West Nile virus cases this year and five of them have been considered serious.As of Aug. 15, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) shows three cases located in the north-central Kansas region and three more in the south-central part of the state.The KDHE says that five of the six cases are classified as neuroinvasive.
