Redistricting is an issue for political junkies. Your average American doesn’t obsess over district maps, even when they help determine who’s in the majority. The DeKalb County Police Department identified the officer killed Friday while responding to a gunman near the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, Officer David Rose, 33, was shot and killed while responding to the shooting at the CDC campus, which prompted a shelter-in-place order for nearby Emory University. The WNBA released a statement Friday addressing the recent wave of fans hurling sex toys onto courts during games. The statement indicated the league is working with federal law enforcement to pursue criminal prosecution against the culprits involved in the incidents. "The safety of everyone in our arenas remains a top priority.
