President Donald Trump has nominated a Virginia state official to lead the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in his new administration.In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump wrote that he nominated Terry Cole to become the next administrator of the DEA. Cole is currently the secretary of public safety and homeland security for the Commonwealth of Virginia.According to the Virginia government's website, Cole was previously the chief of staff and executive officer at the DEA's Department of Justice Special Operations Division, and also served as the DEA's representative to the National Security Council.
